A wedding is so much more than a day. It's two families coming together with so many of your friends and acquaintances there to support you. It's the culmination of all that you've been through in life and in your relationship with your essential person. It’s the start of your commitment to each other and the beginning of a new chapter that you will write together. It is once in a lifetime. But no matter how good the food is, how extravagant the venue or how beautiful the dress, the emotion of your day is best remembered through the magic of a camera in the hands of a talented storyteller.
My approach to wedding photography is based in a background of photojournalism and fine art portraiture. I’m a deeply introverted person so I've always been more interested in observing people than talking to them. Which is why I've always been drawn to photography. It gives me the permission to watch people and capture them in unguarded moments of natural beauty and grace. And to me, nothing is more satisfying than when these moments come together to tell a story. I am able to direct the action when necessary but capturing the candid moments that truly tell the story of your wedding day is a special skill that gives me great joy to provide.
