It must have been a little bittersweet for Sara to have her wedding on the farm she inherited from her grandfather without him there to share in the celebration. She spent much of her childhood here, so many memories! Unfortunately the farm had been a bit neglected over the recent years. The barn they needed for the reception didn’t even have electricity but everyone worked really hard and made the space beautiful for Sara and Vade. I was pretty nervous for them having an outdoor wedding, it was sprinkling rain on my drive over and the sky was threatening to get real stormy. They put off the ceremony for a little while as guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The rain cleared and we made our way to the ceremony site. Just as we arrived the clouds parted and the sun shone as Sara and Vade said their vows to each other. It was beautiful.
