Morgan and Milan’s wedding by Point Robinson Lighthouse had a bit of a rocky start. Prior to the wedding day I was scheduled to document them both participating in a henna ceremony, only to arrive and discover that they had a Covid exposure and out of an abundance of caution were limiting guests for the day. On the wedding day the weather was not exactly ideal for an outdoor beach ceremony and on top of that their makeup artist was a no-show. It was the kind of beginning that might spell doom for a newly wed couple, if not for the extraordinary amount of love that these two beautiful women showed for each other and the incredible support displayed by their friends and family. It was the kind of day that could break your heart but melts it instead. I’m always deeply honored to be part of any wedding day but I have to admit, this one was extra special.
